SMAUG

When we started thinking about Smaug, we wanted it to be elegant and very simple, in the same mood as our previous build, Falkor. We therefore sought inspiration in the universe of watchmaking and found just what we were looking for in Rolex’s catalogue : the Daytona 16523 Zenith Phase Two.

As for its name, it comes from our desire to extend our “Dragon” series, launched with Falkor. But this time, we wanted a more fierce, intelligent and visually stunning dragon, whose character traits could match the technical characteristics of the bike.

It appeared quite obvious that the only dragon who could possibly fulfill our conditions was Smaug, from J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Hobbit”. He’s one badass, powerful and cunning motherfucker.

To keep it all together, we made sure that under its distinguished elegance, our bike could still show off its full strength on the road.

Our own way to continue Smaug’s legend.
